Salford's Dr Benjamin Halligan will be at the BFI Southbank this Thursday night, introducing two films from the subject of his 2003 critical biography, "Michael Reeves" (Manchester Uni Press, 2003): a rare early short, "Intrusion", and a classic of Swinging London horror, "The Sorcerers" (with Boris Karloff, Ian Ogilvy and Susan George).
